DVIC December Data Vault Masterclass - Special Guest Announcement

We know there's something a little daunting when talking about December as October ends - but we're just so excited we couldn't hold it back. Our December Masterclass will have the legendary Dan Linstedt joining Julien, Nols and Michael to answer questions exclusively from DVIC Members! Dan, the creator of Data Vault and organiser of WWDVC, is an amazing well of information for everyone working with, considering using, or even DV Curious - so we wanted to give everyone plenty of time to organise any questions they may have for him. Post them here in the Comments section - while we will announce to the general public next month in the November Masterclass about his involvement, only DVIC members will be able to submit questions.

Hi Dan, I'm curious what you think about building an operational system with DataVault 2.0. Are there any changes to the reference architecture that you would recommend?

Hey Dan, with Data Mesh being the hot topic it is right now, I would be interested in your thoughts about it, especially in regards to Data Vault, where those intersect, how they could complement each other and where you see the limits. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this!

Hey Dan, I would like to get your opinion on the dbt approach of control vs. velocity when developing the raw data vault. Their approach is that every developer tests their models in their own schemas to prevent overwrites, for example. What is your opinion on this? What advantages or disadvantages do you see compared to a shared development schema?

I would really like to know if there is going to be a WWDVC Europe again some day? Big fan of what is happening in the US, and I think it would be great to be able to exchange thoughts and knowledge here in Europe!
